As another busy summer holiday period draws to a close, we now have time to look back at another successful 6 week period at SCS Ceilings.

One of our recent projects was a new school ceiling in Gosport. Bayhouse School required a new grid and tile suspended ceiling to their Sports hall.

The large 300m2 ceiling was 4 meters high, so scaffold towers were used to access the space safely. The roof of the hall had four skylights which required an MF detail to finish it into the new grid and tile ceiling. We built these MF skylights, which we then taped and jointed.

Rockfon Arctic ceiling tiles were specified for this area. They have good acoustic properties, which is important in a large area like this. Also, they are an affordable option, making them a good choice where budgets need to work hard.

If you have a school project that we could help with in the October half term, please contact us.
