Case Study – Brighton Metropolitan College, Ecophon Solo suspended ceiling

A new install for us and still under construction, we have been recently working at Brighton Metropolitan College installing a stunning Ecophon solo suspended ceiling.

The Ecophon solo ceiling is a completely flexible system which allows for many different configurations. Here, the Architect had specified a chequerboard pattern, allowing for void areas through which lighting will be suspended, level with the ceiling.

1800mm x 1200mm and 1200mm x 1200mm square and rectangular shaped panels have been neatly joined to form what almost appears as one large panel. The ceiling was hung on specialist adjustable wires, which allow for the ceiling to graduate in level.

This modern ceiling system looks amazing and really lends itself to the progressive learning environment of Brighton Metropolitan College.
